Moss pots are similar to bog pots in that they feature two interconnected sections, but with a clear distinction between the planted area and the water reservoir. The planted section has a raised back, allowing you to create a gentle slope of substrate leading down toward the water, which can be planted with live mosses and other small treasures.
Planting recommendation: I would fill the planted area with sphagnum moss, and plant it with a variety of mosses interspersed with small Pinguicula. It would also be beautiful planted with moisture-loving miniature orchid species amongst moss.
